A rich and intense amber wine, elegantly structured layers of fruit, minerality and spice. Uncensored 2018 became the best rated Serbian wine in 2021, winning 96 points at the DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS - no small feat for an “unconventional” orange wine in a country with a long traditionalist history of winemaking.
We have limited quantities of Uncensored 2018, having secured the last of the vintage for export.
Bikicki’s vineyards are located in Banostor village in the ancient wine region of Fruška Gora, Serbia facing the Danube River on the edge of Fruška Gora national park. Đorđe works together with technologist Oszkár Maurer and winegrower Jelena Burmudžija to produce incredible wines of character and clarity that express the terroir from which his grapes come. Technologist Maurer ferments exclusively on natural yeasts and without additional intervention in the cellar. Bikicki’s philosophy in wines is balance and elegance - he believes in using natural principles to create wines that do not have bret or VA, preferring to produce clean wines which express fruitiness the terroir provides his grapes.

"Clear, intensively amber wine, with a layered, elegant and noble fragrance. It etheric character gives the impression of gunpowder minerality, then follow the muted fruity tones in the form of a dried orange peel, as well as dry Mediterranean spices. The structure opposes the intensity of fragrance, it is very rich, with a firm tannin bite. The taste lasts endlessly and brings about the tonal values of fruit, oriental spice and warm, dry, flowery tones."
