"This is everything we look for in a vino da tavola. A blend of roughly eighty percent Freisa and twenty percent Barbera from young vines planted over Asti’s soft, sandy soils. They spend two months on skins, before being pressed off to fiberglass tanks. With a wonderful balance of earth, black fruits and spice, it is the kind of honest, rustic wine we dream of finding at a trattoria in the countryside."
