The winner from Costador's Metamorphika collection is this knock out orange wine made from whole bunched Sumoll Blanc that was left to bubble away in amphora for 12 weeks before it's juice was extracted and then left to ferment again in amphora for 6 months. Et Voilà! This top draw orange was born!
Expect something hazy, medium to full bodied with tastes of grapefruit, orange peel, dried stone fruits and maybe a hint of vanilla pepperiness. In short, it's a complex orange with a long finish that you know will go awesome with a wedge of washed-rind cheese (seek out some Saint James - you won't regret it!), if that's your kind of thing of course!
