The Durrmann family make wine on the slopes of Vosges mountains in the village of Andlauin. With vinyards that have been farmed organically since 1998, Domaine Durrmann have been producing sulphur-free cuvées since 2007. True eco-warriors, the Durrmanns were amongst the first in Alsace to convert to organic farming and use only electric cars and solar energy for hot water and heating.
This is a classic Riesling from the Domaine Durrmann. The grapes are grown on granite soil and are exposed to a lot of sunshine resulting in a wine with beautiful structure and a well balanced acidity. Notes to look forward to with this one are citrus, apple and elderflower, with a delicate tropical finish.
