Roberto has been making some of the most intriguing forward thinking wines within Chile. If you come across his Mingaco white wine snap it up immediately, you wont be disappointed.
This is a super unique orange wine with plenty of body and acidity which makes it an awesome wine to try pairing with foods. Its complexity leaves us thunking of almonds, citrus fruits and even some herbaceous notes of mint. Trust us - it melds together beautifully!
Organic, hand harvested, spontaneously fermented on the skins with indigenous yeast in old oak barrels, no filtration or fining, tiny amount of sulphur added before bottling, vegan/veggie friendly.
About the winemaker:
"Based in Nacimiento, Bio-Bio, Chile - with some vines in the Itata Valley. He farms around 6ha; some vines are over 200 years old. Grapes are Pais, Muscat, Corinto (Chasselas) and Semillon. After working in vineyards across the world, Roberto set up on his own in 2015 (he is a busy chap as he still has a day job working as an organic consultant)."
