Tenuta Foresto, two young winemakers from Nizza Monferrato in Italy are doing amazing things. Pauline Alfano & Francesco Pozzobon are inspired not only by the local winemaking traditions, but also the ‘do-nothing farming’ principles of Japanese philosopher, Masunobu Fukuoka.
 
This is from their youngest Barbera vines, making for an earthy cherry bomb with the right amount of spiciness! Naturally sparkling, this is an ancestral/pet-nat style with no filtration and no added sulphur.
