A skin contact wine for orange lovers of every variety - a wonderfully dynamic opaque amber coloured wine which is a little floral, aromatic and moreishly zesty. Equally appealing as both an introduction to skin contact wines and a delight for the seasoned orange lover. This wine has gone down a storm with everybody that has tried it, to rave reviews from even the most vocal wine naysayers.
 
Serve chilled. This wine is incredibly stable, and will hold up well after opening with little change in the days after.
 
About the winemaker:
Bikicki’s vineyards are located in Banostor village in the ancient wine region of Fruška Gora, Serbia facing the Danube River on the edge of Fruška Gora national park. Đorđe works together with technologist Oszkár Maurer and winegrower Jelena Burmudžija to produce incredible wines of character and clarity that express the terroir from which his grapes come. Technologist Maurer ferments exclusively on natural yeasts and without additional intervention in the cellar. Bikicki’s philosophy in wines is balance and elegance - he believes in using natural principles to create wines that do not have bret or VA, preferring to produce clean wines which express fruitiness the terroir provides his grapes.

“A wine of a powerful, opaque orange colour and rich fragrance of dried apricots, ginger, rose water and tropical fruits, in particular the lychee. Equally rich and full in the mouth, with a firm citric freshness and taste of a ripe tangerine. In the long endnote, there are interwoven mildly hot tones of ginger, rose Turkish delight and freshness of red grapefruit.”
